Financial Support Programs
The BBF offers grants or loans to assist with everyday living expenses, urgent bills, medical costs, disability-related needs and retraining. We can provide referrals to debt councillors where appropriate. Each case is assessed individually to provide responsive, compassionate support tailored to the applicant’s unique circumstances.
Educational Funding Opportunities
The fund provides financial aid for education or retraining programs, assisting individuals in securing new employment opportunities within or outside the aviation industry.
Practical Support
Beyond financial aid, BBF offers tailored guidance and practical help, including access to independent financial advice, to support individuals through difficult circumstances.
Scholarships
The BBF supports a number of scholarships and is committed to helping individuals advance their careers. A range of new professional scholarships is planned for release during 2025, aimed at supporting current and aspiring aviation professionals.
